What we collect

When you interact with The Prototype — whether placing an order or submitting a quote request — we may collect the following information:

• Name and email address — provided when you submit a quote request or complete a purchase.
• Shipping address — collected at checkout to fulfill and deliver your order.
• Project details — any information you voluntarily share in the custom quote form.

We do not collect payment card numbers directly. All payment data is processed securely by Stripe (see below).

Service providers

We use a small number of trusted third-party services to operate the site. Each has its own privacy policy governing how they handle your data.

• Stripe — processes all payments securely. Your card details are handled entirely by Stripe and never touch our servers.
• Formspree — receives and routes quote form submissions to our inbox.
• Cloudflare — hosts and serves this site, and routes email for the-prototype.co domain.

How we use your information

We use the information we collect solely to fulfill orders, respond to quote requests, and contact you about your project. We do not use your information for advertising or analytics beyond what is inherent in the third-party services listed above.

We do not sell your data

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with any third party for marketing purposes. Full stop.
